Over the weekend, Solange made her Saturday Night Live debut on one of the year’s most coveted dates, just before the presidential election. Big sister Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z were there to support Solange and her new album, A Seat at then Table. In addition receiving well-wishes from cast members, including Leslie Jones, Solange received good vibes from her mom via social media.

“She’s still our baby,” wrote Solange and Beyoncé’s mom Tina on Instagram. “We have been picking her up like this since she was 10 yrs old . On the legendary SNL stage.”
Jones couldn’t handle her proximity to Jay and Bey, declaring “Yo this is one pic I wanted very bad!!” as she posed with the Brooklyn rapper. A flawless afterparty shot showed Jones with the celebrity power couple: “Ok now y’all know I’m the s— right!! Illuminati!! Lol @solangeknowles killed it tonight!!”
Finally, Beyoncé shared a (captionless) photo from outside Rockefeller Center, a subtle nod to the evening and her sister’s huge gig.
